AI-Generated Content

Some roles on JustLooking are generated with the help of AI (powered by OpenAI) based on real positions and industry patterns. These AI-generated profiles are:

Based on real positions: Content reflects actual industry trends, though profiles do not represent specific companies or currently open positions
Personalized: AI helps generate roles that match your stated preferences (industry, work style, experience level, etc.)

We also feature roles from companies and user-submitted content, which are clearly labeled.

Your Privacy is Protected

No public profiles: Your information is never visible to employers or recruiters unless you explicitly share it
No data selling: We never sell your personal information to third parties
Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
Minimal retention: We only keep data as long as needed to provide the service

Third-Party Data Processing

We use the following third-party service to provide our core functionality:

OpenAI (AI Service Provider)

Purpose: Generating personalized role profiles based on your preferences
Data sent: Your onboarding preferences (industry, work type, experience level, work style, company size, salary expectations). We never send your name, email, or other identifying information.
Data retention: OpenAI processes data under their API data usage policy—API data is not used to train their models
